Our Confession

the basis of our beliefs at The Way.

  • As a church in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention and as members of the Cumberland Baptist Association, we affirm the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message.
  • In unity with the faith once for all delivered to the saints in the historic tradition of orthodoxy, we affirm the Nicene, Apostles', and Athanasian creeds.
  • We consider the 1689 London Baptist Confession a reasonable expression of the faith.
